Default Domain Parking or Minisite?

This question has been asked many times.

domain parking is a page of links, a big turn off, I prefer spending a bit of time on a minisite.

What do you think?

Parking damages your SEO, PR, rankings... etc
I will also rather have a minisite, but still haven't made a start yet.
will start soon using Mally's Blue minisite zip file, can be downloaded here :

I prefer to use a small site rather than just park a domain. I've used the blue template and altered it slightly for this site;

Bona Vacantia

Let me know what you think.

not bad layout, but the short content made it look like a parked page

Cheers for that.
What would you recommend, is it better to have a first page with an article on it or some information about the topic? Is it better to spend plenty of time on one site or a little bit of time on many?
